It is crazy how it's almost been a month in 3 days!! If I covered my bruising I would just have a little swelling under the mask. I'm glad that things are going great now, I pulled a few stitches out last night which was SO MUCH FUNNNN. I'm happy to be back to making my clothing videos again !! Hair and makeup need to wait :(
I wanna just quickly say that I wish I could truly show each and every one of you that support me out there how much you mean to me. I know that I will never be able express it enough either. Regardless if you watch my videos regularly or even here and there it means absolutely everything to me because I am my vulnerable self on my channel and some parts of my life that are sometimes hard to share (like this surgery recovery,) I know you guys are always there for me 10000% of the time
You guys are also the reason how I found my true passion in life which is helping others and making them happy. I do not know for sure which career path I will end up going down, however I do know that it will center around making others smile! :)
I never in a million years will understand why people see inspiration in me, i am just me and people seem to like it! That's why I want you all to be yourselves because you really never know whose heart you will touch. Just like when I was in high school, I had no idea Leelah alcorn felt the way she did about me until after I graduated!! So don't base it off of right now either!!
Love you all,
Ps: thanks for 1500 Facebook likes!!! Woo!
It's been a roller coaster the past few weeks but one of the things I find the hardest is not being able to do some of the things I love!!! YouTube is a huge example of this!! It's literally therapy for me to sit down and just be myself, hearing feed back from my amazing viewers, and the fact I can't for a few more weeks is really difficult! I still post updates but I can't wait for the full 20 minute videos again, am I right!! This is another thing people who get surgery fail to mention so I'm learning out the hard way!! What do you guys do when you are either sick or in a position where you need to take it easy for awhile?? Love hearing back from you!!! 💋
Today I got all of my bandages off at my surgeons office and let me tell you I don't think I was actually ready for what was underneath. I had been avoiding mirrors like a plague and so it made me even more anxious. Needless to say I'm still swollen like a balloon but when I looked in the mirror I finally am seeing the girl I've always felt has been inside of me!!! Such a surreal moment..
1/16/15 : Today marks the 6th day out of surgery and I'm happy to finally say I'm feeling a LOT better!!! I still am swollen like a fluffy pillow all over but its not as unbearably like it was the first few days!! i can already tell you that I'm more than happy i didn't chicken out and ended up going through with it all!! i can't wait to keep you guys posted!! Warning Graphic pictures of me out of surgery -
